My name is Emma De Sadeleer. I'm a business strategist based between Canada and Florida, working remotely with small service businesses across North America.
I graduated from the Lang School of Business at the University of Guelph with a degree in Economics and International Business, but the education that's shaped how I work came mostly from doing. I've built my own businesses from the ground up, worked inside other people's businesses at the strategic level, and spent years figuring out what actually works what just looks good on a plan.
I started in marketing. What I kept finding was that most of the businesses I worked with didn't have a marketing problem, they had a clarity problem. A structure problem. A "doing everything myself with no real system" problem. So I shifted. Now I work at the level where those problems actually live.
I work with a small number of clients at a time, by application only.
What I bring to every engagement: an audit of what's actually going on in your business, a prioritized plan for what to fix and in what order, and connections to the right people when you need someone to execute what we've mapped out together.
I own and operate two other educational businesses alongside this one. I mention this because I understand what it means to be a business owner managing multiple priorities, limited time, and real financial stakes. I'm not advising from the outside looking in.
I also believe that the best client relationships are ones where both sides chose each other carefully. That's why every engagement starts with an application and a conversation before any work begins.
I've worked with service businesses across several industries, including education, construction, health and wellness, and hospitality and retreats.
The underlying work was always strategic, understanding where the business was stuck, identifying what needed to change, and helping the owner see a clearer path forward.
