Human trafficking overview

Human trafficking is a $236 billion industry, exploiting millions—particularly women and girls, who make up 75% of victims. This criminal enterprise surpasses many ethical industries, exposing a deeply troubling misallocation of global resources.

I’ve educated myself through organizations like IJM, OUR Rescue, Skull Games Society, and Their Stories Matter, all of which take direct action to combat trafficking. My efforts were inspired by The Sound of Freedom, a movie I watched in 2023. Since then, I’ve deepened my understanding of the issue, explored the politics surrounding human trafficking, and worked to spread awareness.

I’ve also pledged to donate 5% of my monthly profits to anti-trafficking initiatives. Awareness is the first step as trafficking exists in every community.
